The central theme of this profile of Ahn So-hee is rounded cheeks and low long eyes. We examine the visible contours and placement of the features in seven steps, starting with the overall face shape and ending with how its lines and surfaces fit together.
Step 1: Face Shape — The Outline of the Cheeks and Jaw
It has an oval shape with a contrast between the round width of the cheeks and the small tip of the chin.
Even within the large oval frame, the width of the cheekbones and chin are not the same. If you follow the speed from the widest part of the face down to the tip of the chin, you can see changes in the outline that are not revealed by length alone.
Step 2: Forehead — Between the Hairline and Brows
Part of the forehead is visible between the thin bangs, and long hair surrounds both sides.
You should look at the shape of the exposed part of the forehead and the hair on both sides. Since the parting and bangs are the lines that divide the upper margin, there is no need to immediately interpret the asymmetry seen in the photo as asymmetry of the forehead itself.
Step 3: Eyes — Eyelid Curves and Horizontal Length

The eyes are low vertically and long horizontally. The curves under the eyes rise as you smile.
In photos with facial expressions, the vertical width of the eyes and the height of the cheeks below the eyes change. If you look at the curve of the lower eyelid rather than just looking at one point at the corner of the eye, you can read the movement of the center of the face more specifically.
Step 4: Eyebrows — The Lines Above the Eyes
The eyebrows are low and relatively straight, and are partially hidden by the bangs.
The visible eyebrow pieces were not drawn to form the full eyebrow shape. If you look at the direction of the confirmed line and the gap between the eyes, you can distinguish between the border of hair or props and the actual eyebrows.
Step 5: Nose — The Central Line and Depth
The bridge of the nose is thin, and the tip of the nose is small and round.
The long bridge of the nose creates a central line that extends from between the eyes to above the lips. Comparing the narrow width of the bridge of the nose and the rounded surface of the tip, the parts that appear as lines and the parts that appear as surfaces can be distinguished within the same nose.
Step 6: Mouth and Chin — Expression and the Lower Face
Lips and Mouth Corners
With a smile, the mouth widens horizontally and the upper teeth are visible. A round volume remains in the center of the lips.
Jawline and Chin
The jaw line comes together smoothly to form a small chin. The width of the ball contrasts with the bottom.
When the mouth opens or the corners of the mouth rise, the width of the mouth and the space left up to the chin also change. If you look at the raised position of the cheeks and the tip of the chin together rather than just the lips, you can see the process by which a smile changes the ratio of the lower jaw.
Step 7: Overall Balance — Rounded Cheeks and Low Long Eyes
Ahn So-hee's eyes are drawn to lines that run horizontally rather than vertically. If you look at the rounded sides of the cheeks and the small tip of the chin together, the contrast between the thin lines around the eyes and the outline that narrows to the bottom is revealed.
